The Eik Jacket has a relaxed silhouette with dropped shoulders, a mandarin collar, large patch pockets, and a clean placket.
The exterior seams are finished with binding, which gives the jacket character, while the inside is sewn with beautiful French seams.
The name "Eik" means oak in Old Norse – a symbol of strength, stability, and groundedness.

The Eik Jacket is suitable for medium to heavy weight woven fabrics, depending on the look you want to achieve:
- Cotton twill or denim creates a classic workwear look.
- Linen adds lightness and a more relaxed style.
- Wool provides elegance and a more sophisticated expression.
There are so many beautiful textiles in the world, and I highly recommend using deadstock fabrics or upcycling existing textiles – perhaps you can even find something in your own stash.
The prototype in the pictures is sewn in a soft tweed wool blend from Italy – a deadstock fabric.

Number of pages: A4 = 32 pages and A0 = 2 sheets
The pattern contains layers, so you only need to print one size - for example, size M. This makes the pattern pieces much clearer.
I will show you how to do this in the print and assembly instructions (YouTube link).
To print one size at a time, you must use Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free here.
